Signs of Spoilage
- Significant loss of aroma: Fresh coriander powder has a distinct, warm, and citrusy scent. If it smells bland or like nothing at all, its flavor potency has likely diminished.
- Faded color: High-quality coriander powder has a light brownish-yellow hue. If it appears dull, pale, or has lost its vibrant color, it's past its prime.
- Clumping or visible mold: If the powder has absorbed moisture, it may clump together. Any visible signs of mold indicate it should be discarded immediately.
